Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) is an excellent plasticizer. Due to its good heat resistance, low volatility and small migration, it is widely used in many fields, as follows:

1. Dioctyl terephthalate is mainly used in the production of various PVC products, such as high-temperature resistant and aging-resistant cable insulation layers and sheaths, PVC pipes and door and window profiles for construction, PVC films and sheets, etc.
2. Dioctyl terephthalate is used in PVC products for automotive interior parts, such as instrument panels, door panels, seat covers, etc. It can also be used as the insulation layer of automotive wiring harnesses to enhance their oil resistance and aging resistance.
3.  In some PVC products for medical devices with high requirements (such as infusion tubes, blood bags, etc.).
4.  It can be used to produce decorative materials such as PVC floor leather and wallpaper, endowing the products with excellent elasticity, wear resistance and stain resistance.
5.  In rubber products, It can be used as a plasticizer to improve the processing and application performance of rubber.
