Allyl glycol, also known as ethylene glycol monoallyl ether, is a colorless, transparent liquid with the molecular formula C₅H₁₀O₂ and a molecular weight of 102.13. Its molecular structure contains both an allylic double bond and a hydroxyethyl ether group, giving it dual reactivity. It is an environmentally friendly bifunctional polymerization monomer and intermediate with a very low odor. a high boiling point, and is widely used in polymer synthesis, coatings, resins, and other fields. It can serve as a substitute for allyl alcohol and offers excellent performance.
