Candelilla Wax is a natural plant wax that appears as yellowish-brown, opaque to translucent hard wax blocks or powder. Its main components are hydrocarbons (approximately 50%, C29-C33 linear alkanes), high-molecular-weight esters (20–29%), free acids (7–9%), and resins (12–14%, primarily triterpenoid esters). Characterized by its brittle, hard texture, luster, and aromatic scent, it is an important natural wax raw material widely used in cosmetics, food, and industrial applications.
