
Ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (EGDGE / EGDE), MF: C₈H₁₄O₄, MW: 174.19, is a bifunctional aliphatic glycidyl ether compound with highly reactive epoxy groups at both ends of the molecule. It features low viscosity, good flow properties, high reactivity, and excellent compatibility with epoxy resins. It is commonly used as an active diluent and crosslinking agent for epoxy resins and serves as a frequently used functional additive in epoxy systems.
