Copper naphthenate (CuN) is a copper (II) complex of naphthenic acid, a non-ionic covalent complex with the molecular formula: C₁₂H₁₀O, MW: 170.21. Commercially available products are typically dark green viscous liquids or solids containing 6%–8% copper. They exhibit excellent fat solubility and biological activity and are low-toxicity, highly efficient, and environmentally friendly multifunctional chemical products widely used in preservation, mold prevention, and catalysis.
