Surfactant raw material: Primarily used in the synthesis of betaine, quaternary ammonium salts, alkanolamides, and other products; widely applied in personal care, industrial cleaning, fabric softening, and antistatic applications.
Epoxy system additives: Dimethylaminopropylamine is used directly as an epoxy resin curing agent; can also be used to prepare intermediates for modified curing agents, used in epoxy adhesives, anti-corrosion coatings, and electronic potting compounds.
Pharmaceutical and Pesticide Intermediates: Serves as an organic synthesis building block for the preparation of local anesthetics, antihistamines, and agricultural chemicals such as fungicides and herbicides.
Other Industrial Applications: Dimethylaminopropylamine is used as textile and leather finishing agents, cyanide-free electroplating additives, and corrosion inhibitors and flocculants in industrial water treatment; it can also be used to synthesize dyes, ion exchange resins, and other products.
