DMDM Hydantoin, abbreviated as DMDMH, with MF: MW: , is a heine-type heterocyclic preservative and biocide. It is a white crystalline powder with excellent water solubility, broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, and low irritation. It releases formaldehyde to provide long-lasting antimicrobial protection and is a mainstream eco-friendly preservative in the personal care and water-based industrial sectors.
