Hexafluorozirconic Acid

Hexafluorozirconic acid (also known as zirconium fluoride or zirconium hexafluoride) is a strongly acidic inorganic complex with the standard chemical formula H₂ZrF₆ and a molecular weight of 207.23. It typically exists as a 45–50% aqueous solution, appearing as a colorless, transparent to pale green liquid. Its core characteristics include strong acidity, high stability, and excellent coordination ability. As a key passivating agent in metal surface treatment, it is widely used in fields such as sealing after steel phosphating, aluminum anodizing, electroplating, ceramics and glass, nuclear energy, and electronic materials.
