Hydrotreated Light Distillate (CAS 64742-47-8) is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid. It is a mixture of C5–C16 hydrocarbons (primarily C9–C16) obtained from petroleum through hydroprocessing or hydrocracking processes. It is characterized by low sulfur content, low aromatic content, low odor, and high stability, and is classified as a light petroleum product. It is insoluble in water but readily soluble in most organic solvents. Chemically stable, it serves as an important source of clean fuels and environmentally friendly solvents, and is widely used in fuel blending, industrial cleaning, coatings and inks, and personal care products.

Fuel blending: Hydrotreated Light Distillate is used as a component in clean gasoline, aviation fuel, and fuels for industrial furnaces and residential heating equipment; low pollution and excellent combustion performance.
Industrial Solvents: Distillates petroleum hydrotreated light is used as a diluent for paints and inks, as well as for cleaning metals and electronic components, and in polymerization and adhesive production systems.
Personal Care and Disinfection Products: Serves as a carrier solvent for aromatherapy products, skincare products, air fresheners, and insecticide sprays.
Other Applications: Hydrotreated Light Distillate is used as a safe carrier for organic peroxides, a rubber processing aid, and a specialized diluent for instruments.
