It possesses excellent properties such as thickening, water retention, film formation, binding, and suspension. Building Materials: Hydroxypropyl Cellulose is used as a water-retaining agent and thickener in tile adhesives, putty powders, and cement mortars to improve workability, prevent drying cracks, and extend open time.
Personal Care and Coatings: It is used as a thickening and moisturizing agent in skincare and personal care products; used as a suspending and dispersing agent and flow agent in water-based coatings and inks.
Pharmaceuticals: Binder for pharmaceutical tablets, matrix material for sustained-release and controlled-release formulations, and coating base for tablets; improves tableting performance and sustained-release effects.
Food Industry: Hydroxypropyl Cellulose is used as a food thickener, emulsifying stabilizer, and anti-caking agent; improves food texture and system stability.
