L Pyroglutamic acid（MF:C5H7NO3, MW:29.11） is a cyclic amino acid derivative with amphoteric properties. It is soluble in water and ethanol, but slightly soluble in organic solvents such as acetone. It is stable under normal conditions and easily hydrolyzed under strong alkaline conditions.
