In the field of analytical testing, as a special flux for sample preparation by fusion in X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF), it can melt and decompose various solid samples such as ores, metal powders, ceramics and cement to prepare homogeneous glass discs, thereby improving the accuracy of elemental analysis.

  2. In the glass and ceramics industry, it is used as a glass additive and ceramic flux to lower the melting temperature of materials, optimize melt fluidity, and enhance the compactness and high-temperature resistance of finished products.

  3. As a chemical raw material, it is used in the preparation of other borate compounds and welding flux materials, and also serves as a weakly alkaline regulator in relevant chemical reaction systems.

  4. In the electronics and other industries, it is applied in the formulation of special optical glasses and refractory materials, as well as in some processes involving inorganic salt catalysis and surface treatment.
