Lithium Tetraborate, Molecular Formula: Li2B4O7 Molecular Weight: 169.12. It is a white powder, slightly soluble in water. Its aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. The product remains stable at room temperature, readily melts at high temperature, and the molten liquid exhibits good fluidity. It is widely used as a flux for fusion sample preparation in XRF analysis, and also serves as an additive in the glass and ceramic industries.

In the glass and ceramics industry, it is used as a glass additive and ceramic flux to lower the melting temperature of materials, optimize melt fluidity, and enhance the compactness and high-temperature resistance of finished products.
