Manganese chloride(MF:Cl2Mn MW: 125.84) is a pink, translucent, irregular, large crystal. It exists in two crystalline forms: the α-form, which is more stable and belongs to the monoclinic crystal system, and the β-form, which is unstable and belongs to the monoclinic crystal system.
At room temperature, manganese chloride appears as pink crystals. It readily absorbs moisture and deliquesces, and is highly soluble in water; its aqueous solution is weakly acidic and pale pink. It is chemically stable, resistant to oxidation, and is the most widely used soluble manganese salt.
