It is stable at room temperature, slightly soluble in water, soluble in strong alkalis and concentrated acids, and readily sublimates and decomposes at high temperatures. It is primarily used in chemical catalysts, metallurgical alloy additives, ceramic pigments, electronic materials, and analytical reagents.
