Monopotassium phosphite (MF：H2KO3P, MW: 120.09), is a white, hygroscopic crystalline substance that is highly soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol. It serves both as a highly effective agricultural phosphate-potassium fertiliser and as a fungicide, and is also used in industrial water treatment as a fungicide and a chelating agent for calcium and magnesium ions.
