Propylene carbonate is a classic solvent for industrial “physical absorption decarbonization/desulfurization,” widely applied in natural gas, synthetic ammonia, coal chemical processing, and other scenarios.
As an organic synthesis intermediate, propylene carbonate can be converted into various high-value chemicals through ring-opening reactions, such as propylene glycol (PG), polycarbonate (PC plastic), and other cyclic compounds.
Solvent and Additive Applications
