It exhibits extremely low toxicity and good biodegradability, primarily used in the production of personal care products such as soap bars, shower gels, facial cleansers, foaming face washes, and bath liquids.
  • SCI is synthesised through esterification and neutralisation of natural coconut fatty acids (primarily lauric and myristic acids) with sodium hydroxyethyl sulfonate.
