  • Sodium Trideceth Sulphate (MF: C₁₉H₃₉NaO₇S, MW: 434.56353) is an anionic surfactant produced by the addition polymerisation of tridecyl alcohol (C₁₃ fatty alcohol) with ethylene oxide (EO), followed by sulphation and neutralisation. It exhibits strong mildness, excellent foaming properties, and hard water tolerance, whilst demonstrating low irritation to skin and mucous membranes.
  • Sodium Trideceth Sulphate combines the mildness of non-ionic surfactants (polyoxyethylene chain) with the cleansing power of anionic surfactants (sulphate ester group), making it a well-balanced ‘modified’ surfactant.
