Sulfamic acid/Aminosulfonic acid (CAS 5329-14-6), with the molecular formula H₃NO₃S, is a white crystalline powder; it is stable at room temperature, non-volatile, highly soluble in water, and slightly soluble in organic solvents. Its aqueous solution is strongly acidic and exhibits excellent descaling, rust removal, and chelating properties.
