THPS serves as a primary biocide in circulating cooling water, oilfield injection water, and industrial wastewater treatment, utilised in circulating cooling water systems of power and chemical enterprises, oilfield injection systems, and wastewater treatment.
THPS serves as an environmentally friendly flame retardant for natural/synthetic fibres including cotton, linen, and polyester, while also functioning as a ‘non-iron finishing agent’ to enhance fabric wrinkle resistance.
Widely employed in papermaking for ‘wet-end (pulp preparation stage) disinfection’ and ‘finished paper flame retardancy’.
Added as a cross-linking agent in water-based coatings and woodworking adhesives to enhance coating water resistance, scrub resistance, and adhesive bonding strength.
Used as a ‘tanning agent’ to partially replace chromium tanning agents in the leather industry.
