  1.  Environmental Solvent Applications:
    – Used in polyurethane coatings, acrylic coatings, nitrocellulose lacquers, alkyd paints, epoxy coatings, etc.;
    – Used in gravure printing inks, flexographic inks, plastic film printing inks (e.g., inks for BOPP, PET films);
    – Used for cleaning electronic components (e.g., circuit boards), precision instruments, and metal parts; dissolves contaminants like grease, resins, and flux residues;
  2.  Ethylene Glycol Diacetate serves as an auxiliary plasticizer for plastics and resins including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose, and polyvinyl acetate;
  3.  Chemical synthesis intermediate
    – Ethylene Glycol Diacetate can be hydrolyzed to produce ethylene glycol for manufacturing polyester (e.g., PET fibers, bottle chips), antifreeze, polyurethane foam, etc.;
    – In organic synthesis, Ethylene Glycol Diacetate serves as a mild acetylation reagent to introduce acetyl groups (-COCH₃) into compounds for synthesizing pharmaceuticals, fragrances, dyes, etc.;
    – It participates in esterification, condensation, and cyclization reactions for preparing specialty esters, heterocyclic compounds, etc.
