Product Application Of Trichloroethylene

  1.  Trichloroethylene is used for metal degreasing and cleaning, such as precision part cleaning in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, machining, and electronic component industries;

  2.  Used to synthesize chemical products such as tetrachloroethylene (dry cleaning solvent), chloroacetic acid, trichloroacetaldehyde, and vinylidene chloride (PVDC resin monomer);

  3.  Serves as an intermediate in synthesizing fine chemicals like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and dyes, including certain antibiotics and herbicides;

  4.  Serves as a refrigerant intermediate for synthesizing fluorinated refrigerants (e.g., R134a);

  5.  Dissolves synthetic resins and rubber for preparing anti-corrosion coatings, printing inks, and adhesives;

  6.  Degreases and de-stains wool and silk to enhance dyeing uniformity.
